Chapter 1: Mace

Is the best thing I have ever drawn.

Seriously, you guys. I'm in shock right now. It took me four hours TOTAL and I just... I don't know how.

I should probably explain, for those not in the loop, that Mace is a character in my upcoming webcomic. This is going to be the beginning chapter page, and I will add text or something, and upload that at a later time.

9.5" x 12", sketched with pencil and then finished in your everyday ballpoint pen. (Not even a brand name, just one of those you pick up from somewhere.)

Storytime... A long time ago (read: about 5 years), in high school, I had a wonderful art teacher. One of those that you groaned about and dreaded, but who, with every torturous project and critique, made you a better artist. We did a drawing in ballpoint pen in that class-- a large drawing. My drawing was sort of shit, but I never forgot it, and never forgot how to use pen like this.
